WebRoute Assam Reviews: honest client reviews for your WordPress site
A free plugin by Jashawant Parashar of WebRoute Assam, Guwahati. Invite real clients with single-use links, moderate fairly and show verified reviews on any theme, with no fake ratings and no rules hidden from you.
- WordPress 5.8+
- PHP 7.4+
- Free, GPL
What you get
Invitation-only reviews
Each client gets a personal, single-use link, so every review comes from a real client.
Built-in fair rules
No review gating, no rewards, policy-only moderation and no editing after submission.
Works with any theme
Plain shortcodes for classic and block themes. Your fonts and colours stay; you pick one accent colour.
Google option for everyone
Every client sees the same Google review link, whatever their rating.
No fake-rating markup
No star schema is added, because Google ignores self-published ratings and penalises fake ones.
Light and private
No tracking, no external calls by default, IP addresses stored only as a hash.
How it works
- 1
Create an invitation
Add a real client's name in the plugin and get a personal single-use link.
- 2
Send it to every client
Use the same wording for everyone and offer the Google option too.
- 3
The client writes an honest review
Rating, optional headline and text, with a confirmation that they received no reward.
- 4
You approve
Publish every honest review, including critical ones. Reject only for the listed policy reasons.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. WebRoute Assam Reviews is free and open source under the GPL. We ask for your name and email so we can send the download link and, if you choose, tell you about updates.
Which themes does it work with?
It uses shortcodes, so it works with classic themes and block themes. Text, fonts and background follow your theme. If you find a theme where it looks wrong, tell us.
What do I need?
WordPress 5.8 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer.
Will it show stars in Google search?
No, and no honest plugin can promise that. Google does not show stars for a business's own reviews of itself. Real stars come from your Google Business Profile reviews, which the plugin encourages by showing your Google link to every client.
Can I send invitations only to happy clients?
No. Send an invitation to every client you finish a project with, with the same wording. Choosing only happy clients is review gating and breaks Google's rules.
How will I hear about updates?
This page lists every version under Updates. A link to it is always shown on your Plugins screen and on the plugin's About page, and you can switch on optional update notices or ask for update emails when you download.
